Getting Started

Please read this user guide carefully, it will help you eliminate most of potential issues using this Theme.

Files & Structure

Software

Below are software which you may find useful to edit the Theme and upload to server

  1. Filezilla - https://filezilla-project.org/ Free FTP Client for uploading your files to server / you can use WordPress to upload the theme.

Theme Installation

Step 1 - Theme Uploading

Please log in to your administration panel. Go to the Appearance panel, then Themes. Click on the Add New button then Upload Theme button and Activate the XTRAIL Theme.

Step 2 - Installing Required Plugins

After activating the theme, Click on Begin Installing Plugins, select all plugins and select install and click apply button.



Step 3 - Demo Import Themes

To import demo data go to Appeareance > Import Demo Data, Select any demo so need to import. e.g Wedding demo. CAUTION: IMPORTING DEMO MAY TAKE UPTO 2-5mins. So kindly be patient untill you see success page.

Step 4 - Demo Import Slider

To import main slider demo data go to Smart Slider > Import slider, Choose slider demo import related to theme you have imported in earlier step. e.g (Wedding Slider.ss3)

Now preview the website you must see the Working demo contents.
We have also incorporated demo import for revolution slider plugin aswell if you have purchased this plugin you can use revolution slider demo import.

Wedding Theme Customization

Changing Homepage Banner

Go to menu Smart Slider > edit wedding slider . Now you'll see option to add a new slide or delete existing slider images and Save.

Replacing Couple Images and Texts

1. Open your Homepage. Now you'll see a top bar click on live editor. Now click on Couple section a popup opens so you can start editing as seen below in the screenshot.

2. click on perticular section to replace groom image and text and social icons.

3. click on image, you'll see edit option. proceed to replace the image.

4. Now click on replace button and select round / square recommended image size and click Replace.

After all changes click on done button on top left to save all changes.
Kindly note : Image replacement procedure applies to all images available in the website.

Countdown Date, Time & Background Image

Go to countdown section click on edit to replace countdown background Image. On right side of the panel Go to Design > Background Image.





Changing Countdown date: Edit below mentioned line to set your date. Kindly use same format else countdown may not work.



Wedding Events replace image and texts

Go to events section click over it. There will be a popup to edit website elements.

Wedding Timeline replace image and texts

Go to Timeline section click over it. There will be a popup to edit panel elements.

Wedding RSVP replace image and Email

Go to RSVP section click over it. There will be a popup to edit elements as shown in below screenshot.

to change RSVP Email setting. Go to Contact > Edit RSVP form

Wedding Bridesmaid & Groomsmen replace image and texts

Go to G & B section click over it. There will be a popup to edit images and texts.

Wedding Drag & Drop Header & Footer

Go to menu Custom Header and Footer, select header or footer to edit relavent items.

Wedding Blogs replace image and texts

Go to menu Blogs and add blog. Click on settings icon > select featured image, replace Image. Remember to click update to save. see below screenshot for better understanding.
